How to write your CV?

Organise your data! Before you start, make sure you have all the data you need jotted down in one place.

1) Contact Information. 2) Educational history. 3) Professional History. 4) Work Experience. 5) Skills.

Check the entry requirements of where you are applying, for additional information.

Create headers with the previously stated data, make it bold. Start writing your information under each of the headings. If you have partaken in some notable activities, or achieved a significant award, make sure to make it stand out with Italics and Bold. Give notable achievements priority, by writing them first and them the rest of the work.

Also include a short description on each of your works and skills and in a few words, how you made use of your experience.

What is my Work Experience?

Internships. Full-Time or Part-Time jobs. Volunteer work. Unpaid jobs. Paid Jobs. Lab work. Field Experience. Research projects. Self initiated projects. For college applications, try including the past 7-10 years of work, depending on the institution requirements.

What to include in Skills?

Languages. Sports. Artwork. Debates. Photography. Writing, Societies you have been in, etc.
